I can see this being usefull if you're just chillin in your car. Just don't use the damn thing while your vehicle is in motion.

I like the idea...a better idea might be a backseat desktop, maybe with a cupholder.
I work in my car sometimes with the laptop and there isn't any decent writing surface, so a portable desktop makes sense...I always wondered if I could install an airline style table in the backseat, because when I have a lot of work to do, I slide the front seat all the way forward and then tilt it forward, get in the backseat and take off my shoes...but I always dream of a desktop, haha.
Guess if my dream is a desktop in the car I'm pretty boring...
