Best LOCAL Spot for Centric (or similar) Slotted '02 WRX Rotors?? (need by Sat AM)

Hey all,

Anyone buy some of these lately or know where I can get some by tomorrow morning. Been really busy and can't really call around. I know they're cheaper online, but if a local spot can come close, then I'll just bite the bullet.

Oh, they don't have to be Centrics. If anyone has other recs, feel free to chime in. I just don't need anything crazy.... Just simple, slotted stock replacement rotors for my commuter Bugeye.

Thanks in advance,

CL

Oh, I'm in SF, and would prefer a source here or the Peninsula Area (San Mateo, etc), if possible.

I just did my brakes with your basic NAPA rotors, pretty decent deal but they aren't slotted or anything. NAPA was pretty painless to work with (they actually seemed to know cars decently well, at least in Redwood City) but the did have to order the pads, which took a day. I know Daly City had them in stock but I never made it up there to grab 'em.

I should start off by saying... slotted rotors will do absolutely nothing to improve your braking.
That said, if you want to find some in stock on the Peninsula you might try Foreign Auto Tech in Milbrae

Thanks for the replies & suggestions. I've heard people having good experiences w/stock replacements from autozone, kragen, etc, but the ricer in me wants something a lil prettier, like the slotted centrics. I figure that'll satisfy me a bit & keep me from impulse buying a set of OEM 4 pots or Stoptechs. LOL

I forgot about For Auto Tech too. Used to get parts for my Integra there. Been away from the car scene for a bit. Memory's not what it used to be either.

Not lookin good for getting them by tomorrow, so might just order em online to save some bucks. Would be nice to support one of our local shops, if the price diff isn't too big tho. Will PM you shortly, Speed Element.

Thanks again for the replies.

Support your local shop.

Me personally, I'd rather have quality blanks than cheap slots.
