Best break pads for an 04 TS Wgn

what do people think? aftermarket or oem? are wrx brake pads different from no turbo model?

The WRX rotors, and pads are all larger than the TS/RS for 2004(ref. www.cars101.com). The calipers might be the same size, just a smaller bracket.

If you can make the jump to WRX calipers/rotors get some Centric rotors if you are on a budget, otherwise DBA rotors.

For pads I really like the Hawk HPS pads. no noise, little dust, stop when they are cold or hot, and they are CHEAP!

If you don't mind some noise and dusting, Hawk HP Plus will really give your brakes some bite.

I have the Porterfield pads also and they are really good. They bite nicely when they are cold or hot and after several track days I've never experienced any fade. A lot less brake dust on my rims compared to stock also.
