wheel techinques

they are a great shop for group deals or expensive wheels not so much for cheap wheels. I have been there before and brought 5 sets of billet wheels w/ friends and had great results and pricing but it also was almost 2 years ago.

What does it take, an hour of work on a machine thats already paid for?

if wheel techniques see a set of $2000 wheels come in, thats when you stick it to the customer (theyre rich), but when a guy with a cheaper wheel comes in, you have to cut them a break if you want to stay in business and get your name out there (in a positive way, aka THIS THREAD!) they have now lost business due to the last few posts.

I think you should research how much work may be involved in repairing a rim before you decide to knock those who are actually in the business

right from a wheel repair website

"It sounds like a relatively simple process, and it is. At least for wheel repair companies that have the necessary machinery and the expertise in repairing wheels that would otherwise have to be replaced."

its not rocket science, i wasnt knocking anyone, half of my uncles work in a machine shop.

So don't go there unless you have some expensive rims.

Consider yourself lucky to have bought a new rim instead. At least they gave u a fair warning about not being able to perfectly match the rim color. I was told by them that they'd be able to match it no problem at all After 5 weeks of downtime on my car, i finally got my set of wheels back. different color, paid more $$. Definitely not what i was expecting....
