no loose crap in car
safe tires
no loose battery
helmet with correct rating
make sure you dont have any visable oil or gunk under your hood, some techs are way too **** and might send you home

Even if your helmet is not upto spec, SCCA Bay Area will loan you one for free. All you need is a license and a car. If you're a non SCCA member turn up early as there are a limited number of guest spots.

Throttle return spring functional, etc. Is the car 'safe'

If you get a guy that complains because you have some gunk in your engine bay, go find Ed (tech chief, and until recently a fello subie owner, Impala SSAutoX on here) because thats silly, and get him to tech you.

Yes, a recent motorcycle helmet is fine.

yea, you can come out and watch for free.

STS is competitive, that's why it's more fun! you have to race against the fast drivers to improve yourself.

The only thing the CX-7 is going to be faster than is a midget in handcuffs.

It handles well for what it is, but I can't wait to get rid of it.
