Belmont PD must be bored.....

On my way home from work they had pulled over a Pontiac G6 sedan with Gov't plates, and there were two Marines sitting on the curb while they searched the car. WTF is going on nowadays.....

Must have suspected them of being in possession of automatic weapons and 12+ round pistol magazines that are legal for military to be in possession of. They should have disguised themselves better, BDU's are just asking for attention.

And you came to that brilliant conclusion how? And FYI, Marines aren't allowed to wear "BDUs" or cammies off base unless it's an emergency. Standing orders from the Commandant.

May be DUI and searching for drugs? There could be many reasons why they were searching that car.

Just because they're Marines and have gov't. plates doesn't mean they can get away with anything. Maybe they were driving erratically or whatever but they're human beings too and I'm sure they make the same mistakes as everyday people do.

I thought it was pretty obvious it was sarcasm.

And I know what they are allowed to wear. Also FYI, they are allowed to wear BDUs while traveling in a GV or POV, they just cannot get out of the vehicle unless on a base or at home.

Belmont police bored?!?!??!?! NO WAY!!!

I remember I got pulled over night of July 4th last year for just being out. I didn't drink that night so yea I wasn't swerving etc.

I was cruising @ 30mph on el camino @ 230am and got pulled over. LEO claimed my headlight was out but when we checked it together it was working just fine. I ended up complying when asked to do multiple sobriety tests (walking a line, counting 30 sec, nose touching and finally a breathalyzer that showed a value of ..............!!!!!!!!!!! .00) While all this was going on 2 additional squad cars came to watch lol.

Last time I go out for cigs in the middle of the night. A 5min trip turned into 45min.
