the way their defense has played in the postseason they might be able to but if they revert to the we can't stop the run team that got smoked by the jaguars they're screwed.

I could seriously see thomas going for 145 yards and benson going for 50 and 2 td's. It could be a bears blow out EASILY.

i personally have been rallying behind peyton...i mean, he's been criticized and judged, to the extent where folks have said 'his career will be judged on whether he gets a ring or not.'

he's fought hard. he desrves it. hell, marvin harrison deserves it.

haha, Peyton has ben judged? Have you not seen Grossman?? when he comes off of the field after every play, his own crowd tears him apart. when we were at the game in chicago it looked like he was going to cry after every time he came to the sideline.

rex grossman hasn't thrown for almost 40,000 yards and 300 td's. By end of next year manning will have done both.

grossman hasn't done **** but had a couple good games. I hated him when he was in florida. I didn't think he deserved 2nd in the heisman race. Once he starts winning games by himself then you can say he judged....or stops throwing picks as regular as td's. He's scary. His brain is just too small for his *****. He can throw 5 td's or 5 picks. Too many risks. Any other team in the nfl would have a loosing record with him as their qb right now sept maybe the ravens.

A couple of good games? he is tied in the NFL with the most games of a +100 passer rating.
Your right about the touchdowns and yards (but grossman is a 4th year (with 24 games) and peyton is a 9th right (with 170 starts)? AND NO im not saying that is why he does not match the stats, but that is a stupid comparison)
i was not saying peyton does not deserve a ring and i was deff. not saying grossman is a better QB by any means. I was making a comment on the criticized part.
oh and about the picks/TD ratio, if you look at Peytons first year stats he was a starter (yes i know it was the year he was drafted)
he threw 26 tds 28 ints with a qb rating 71.2
Grossman just had 23tds 20ints and a rating of 73.9 (also first full year as a starter)
Im not saying i think the bears will win and im not saying the colts will. It will be a good game.

 

just responding to the fact that you laughed that peyton is being judged in comparison to grossman. Simply stating that when rex has done what peyton has and is still being judged for not winning it all then you can laugh.

If peyton manning wins this title and continues at the pace he's at...and say wins 1 or 2 more...he could go down as the greatest or one of the greatest passers the nfl has ever seen.

rex grossman is nothing but a great arm at this point in his career. He'll be good if they let him grow. He's got the talent obviously. He's got the *****. he just needs to grow into better reads. Like I said...I wasn't impressed with him in florida beyond his arm and his guts.

doesn't grossman also have 5 games under a 50 rating....WELL UNDER. like 10 and 0 and 1. Not sure...but that's my point. that's it. not offended.

Shoot I don't even like the colts. I'm a fan of the worst team in the nfl right now. have been since I was born and it won't change even when they suck. I was also a fan of detroit until the screwed sanders.
