Bayson R - GR CS LIP Review

Impulse bought a new lip since bayson R is local

mehttp://www.baysonr.com/11_12_Subaru_Impreza_WRX_STi_CS_Type_1_Front_Lip_p/flip-pu-im2011-cs1.htm

Fitment... 7/10 due to the fact that the lip runs short (as you will see) and the driver side doesn't sit perfectly... Other than that install is easy and i did have to cut both sides of the lip to screw it on... enjoy! and yes my car is dirty...

**Driver side

**Passenger side

**Minor adjustments

Personally - if a any body part was off by that much (that looks like near an inch on each side ) I'd return it.

I was actually one of the first to purchase this lip from them and perhaps the batch now is borked but my lip is seriously like a 9.5/10 fitment wise. There's a minor gap on the passenger side edge but I think it was my install to be honest. I could fix it but im lazy to remove my bumper again.

I've seen two other locals install this lip as well on their 2012's WRX's. SubbieMedic and PlastmaHatch both installed theirs fairly recently and after seeing them in person they lined up and looked great too. Nothing visibly wrong fitment wise.

Wasted $ for something that does not even fit correctly. If you have money to be thrown around then I say nice find and looks great...

I bought more than a half of dozen of products from BaysonR, fitment was very good. Your car is relatively new, my thought is that they are still working on improving the mold

Bayson R

Returning parts to this shop is close to impossible, bought me a replica lip for my wrx, since i tend to scrape a lot i figured replicas would be the best way.

Fitment time came and i was not happy, so off to Bayson R, as soon as they saw me walk in with the lip, 2 employees walked up then 3 then 4, they were like " you have to do this and so on", by then i knew that this "simple" return will be a futile. again , i will scrape up the lip anyway so %$#% it.

I went with the rivets as the self tapping screws supplied doesn't seem to tighten up.

Price - 7

Fitment - 3

CUSTOMER SERVICE - 0

Is it legal to refuse refunds? even if they stamp "NO RETURN" on the invoice?

All items sold in CA are under "implied warranty of merchantability" Which basically says that any item sold must be in good working order can be returned or exchanged within 90 days

The spoiler does not fit your car which makes it defective. Regardless of what Bayson R stamps on their invoice, they are required to either exchange or refund a defective product.
Having had spent years working at two very ethical shops and refusing to sell products I felt were below par... shops pulling crap like this makes my blood boil.
