Bay Area Visit
I'm going to be vacationing in the Bay area for a couple weeks in October. Can anyone tell me where I can find a Japanese bookstore so I can leave with lots of car books. magazines?
Finally, do any of the car shops up there have a retail operation where I can come in and check out parts and stuff?
Thanks for the help.

there is a janapese? bookstore on the corner of Saratoga Ave and Moorepark Ave just off hwy 280. I could be wrong about it being japanese though.
As for retail shops with a store front, I know gruppe-s has a number of different things in their store front, MPJ has a wall with some stuff on it, and I think subydude has some stuff as well.
All 3 of the above shops are within a few miles of each other. Well, mpj and gruppe-s are like 3 miles apart, subydude is about 15 minutes south on 880.

Visit some of the roads of the North Bay. Marin and Sonoma counties have some beautiful roads, and you can find some of them on www.pashnit.com
Bring a camera, some snacks, and something to drink, because once you find some of the roads, you might spend all day out here. Redwoods, twisty roads, and scenery.
BTW, bring a camera as well.

Option Magazine will run you about $7, J's Tipo/Cars-i will be about $6, and the super pretty ones will be like $15+.
