What are my options for tuners in the bay area?? My current Turner will tune 850cc deatchwerks but says 1000cc I will not get a good tune, I don't understand why you are able to tune 850 but not 1000, of the same brand .
I will be running a stock turbo, 38mm tail external waste gate with up pipe catless3in downpipe Cobb sf intake. Upgraded fule pump . Turbo inlet . Also picked up a 4 bar map sensor .

1000cc injectors on a stock turbo? Why? Are you running E85?

Take it to a real tuner. But I'm guessing it has something to do with your fuel pump. Still running stock?

Gst were the ones that told me that I would get a not good tune. Are they not a good tuning shop?

Definitely a good tuner.

I think you should talk to Mike again and get some clarity on the situation. Maybe the 1000cc injectors work differently than the 850cc? That could account for something. Is this on an AccessPort?

VF39, Pump, E85 is definitely a combo that would warrant large injectors and 1000cc doesn't sound too big or anything. Sounds about right actually.

Gotta be some kind of miscommunication here.

Did you already purchase the Deatchwerks injectors? If not, get the Injector Dynamics (ID1000's) instead of the DW's.

Maybe it's the quality of injector. We honestly have zero information on what's really going on here. My guess... Mike is right. He knows what he's talking about.

I'm sure Mike recommended the ID1000's. its probably easier to tune with the Id's than the deatch . the only thing is you need to buy the pnp connectors for the id's . Im running Id1000 , blouch 16gxt on corn juice Tune by the best of the best Mike@gst
Happy tuner = good running car.
