You guys missed out on this one:

https://www.i-club.com/forums/meetings-events-donuts-91/suby-evo-meet-%40-jdm-theory-toy-drive-charity-event-172909/

I'm not really down to do another one - it's not because I'm a Scrooge or anything, but I'm not motivated. Of the many people that actually posted they were going - only myself and Al made it.

It doesn't really matter which one you go to, the important thing is that people should contribute in any way they can. I know that there are a few other events as well and I hope that you guys make an effort to contribute in some way or form to each one of them. If you can attend, maybe contact an organizer and send him/her a $5 check or something to help with costs or to help pay for a toy. I don't think any of these organizations are asking for much. When a lot of people does a little bit, it has huge effect.

Sorry, my point was totally missed - the reason I don't want to go to another one is because of the low turn out. Not only that, but I saw a lot of people coming in empty handed. I felt like I was at a ricer fest. I could have slept in and seen the same thing at the local Stabucks.

I'm willing to go. Same cause, different event. Can't judge one from the other. Nor should one be persuaded whether or not to attend by others actions, or lack thereof.

More info please.

Sorry Charlie. I didn't mean to send the wrong message. I just meant to say that in general. You already did your part by supporting the JDM Theory event, which is cool.

What I meant to say was, there are a lot of opportunities to make a difference, and even if you can only do one, you should still do it. Yeah...

I think I'll ask Henry to talk to the SROPerformance guy. If he won't be able to do this, we'll just take over and make this work out. Yup.
