around 1115 this morning on 280 North just passed the Serramonte exit spotted a very nice blue 2 door RS with carbon fiber hood, pink i badge, i-club sticker on the side skirt and gold rims. I was in the CGM Wagon. Peace signs exchanged

 

saw downsti and norcalbugeye and a few of their scoobydoo buddies at the FIRM meet last night

 

So, what exactly is the FIRM? I've accidently driven through their meets twice while going to McDonald's, lol.

 

just a evo ethusiast group, mainly southbay/SJ guys. We do our weekly meets, fun runs in the twisties, group wrenching days, other social meets, etc. This summer we plan to do full on track days and what not with small groups

So yeah, its not a "racing team", but just a bunch of guys with similar car interests

 

Cool, I was just surprised when i rolled into McDs and see a large gathering of Evos.

 

yup...there are a few suby guys that come too, reepak is one of them and we already convinced an 06 wrx owner (johnny) to trade it in for a new evo

 

When the evo wagon hits the states, i will convert. hehe

 

there are rumors of the evolander!

but yeah, Im hopin to pick up a suby wagon as a second vehicle in the next couple years and making the evo a weekend/track car

 

It's a shame Mitsu doesn't currently have an upgrade path for the Evo. When I outgrow the WRX in a few years, I'll probably move up to a Legacy spec.B or STI. If I were an Evo owner, I'd want to move up to a Galant Evo (if you will), not necessarily an SUV like an Evolander.

 

Well, with the specB and limited STi doing well, maybe mitsu will come back with something good

If not, keep the evo as a raw drivers car and get the more refined suby as a DD

what part of capitol? My GF lives across the street from the CCOC place, so i'm in the area alot. And i guess my car could be considered gold, technically its Urban Grey Metallic. I have gold wheels and i usually have a Yakima rack on.

 

The other side of 87 from you - closer to Albertsons. All the cars I mentioned live in my complex. They all park within plain sight of me. BUT I think I may have seen you around there. There is also a black wagon on black wheels with a polished lip I have seen in the area also.

this evening at 9:09pm, spotted a white GC Impreza L sedan, lowered, exhaust, rear ARB, mudflaps, rims. on 101S at Holly Ave. in San Carlos. i saw you following a hottie in a stock 04/05 CGM WRX sedan. i was in the loud black Saturn coupe that passed you. good looking GC, makes me miss mine....
