white sti with some sort of exhaust, couldnt make it out since it was dark out on 880 N in rush hour traffic in milpitas.

white 04-05 wrx (i think) on fremont blvd. we both made a right turn from paseo padre then you were waiting at the light to make a left into that plaza where the albertson is.

me: blue with P45Fs, rally armor mudflaps, i club decal on rear window and big subydude sticker on trunk.

the crash happened at Reno-Fernley because my brakes went dead. pedal went all the way to the floor. i took it straight off the track because i was carrying alot of speed and didnt want to roll trying to make the turn. basically, that resulted in the bottom of the car melting from a grass fire and the entire front suspension destroyed.

I actually saw you get on central from Mary Ave. do you work up there? i work at Blue Coat Systems, next to Sun.

Wow... that sucks about the car. Did the brake fluid boil or something?

Yeah, I work up by Maude and 237.

I thought so. Roberto and I used to work together at SurfControl, and for a short period where I was there at blue coat last year. Tell him Matt Snow says hi.

That was me! And the color is steel gray. Just found out about this site, thanks for the welcome.

You're welcome. I always get CGM and SGM mixed up. I think SGM is darker. Do you have an '06 or '07?

I went for the 06 since they had 0% apr for 24 months... thousands of dollars saved in interest! And the differences between the 06 and 07 weren't enough to sway me one way or another. I noticed in the other thread that you work at Paypal... I'm practically down the street at Brokaw at the Brocade building.

I've noticed that someone with a CGM (I think) STI parks in the 3rd floor parking lot. Anyone here?

I saw Hokusai twice on Telegraph in Oakland around 6 PM while I was at work moving my car to a closer parking spot. I think that's who it is. The most recognizable features on the WRB bugeye were the molded on Mines trunk lip wing, JDM side markers, and the old skool classic GC8 goldies, so that narrowed it down. =)
