Huh? Sure the different drive styles handle differently but you always stabilize by adding power. Be it front, rear or all wheel drive. Adding a little throttle settles the chassis and allows you to corner harder/faster. It's a delicate balance, but this is just as true as 'push right to go right' on bikes and such, which is another weird thing to grasp.

Yep that was me. Nice to meet ya! Your ride looked clean with the SDR's.

What you heard were my catless straight pipes. I have RA gears, lightened fly, springs, swaybar, etc. I know a few other kids around Danville with Subarus and Evos. You should come out to the EBAIC meet on Mondays in Cocnord. Last Monday we had about 20 Subarus there.

When and where you add that power really changes with FF, FR or awd setups.

FR for example, they will always beat an awd car into the corner, fast in, break hard, hold through the turn, then power on out. awd, you really gotta enter the corner slower, but you get back on the power mid-apex so you esually can exit faster

Eh, yeah but in my experience this depends on a car's suspension tune and power more than specifically locked directly to the drivetrain layout (unless you are talking about Forza - haha).

Anyway, cool discussion, but prolly for another place I guess (don't wanna threadjack...).

[threadjack] Most cars except for high powered RWD cars will do this. For me an ALK made a night/day difference however this is a normal effect. This is what I was talking about with a delicate balance. If I let off abruptly the car will oversteer so the sweetspot depending on the turn is in the amount of throttle. This becomes evident on roads like HWY 9 and 35 with tons of turns to practice on. [/threadjack]
