Why do you have to be young to be a sports car enthusiast? And what age is considered old?!? I know plenty of guys older than me who know all about Subies. Since you were born in 1983, that makes you about 22-ish. I am 35 but look like I'm in my late 20's. I get peace signs from WRX/STI guys much younger than I am here in San Jose (Capital Expressway Area and up on White Road). I doubt I'll ever grow out of sports cars and want to drive a Caddy. WRX is an enthusiasts car...there are going to be a broad range of people driving them. Get used to it.

yesterday silver bugeye on 880 North with lip. you had a girl in your passenger seat and we both said wsup, the girl in the passenger seat also said wsup to me which i thought was cool. we then exit mowry but you went left and i went right.

moments later, black wrx with exhaust and bov. you were on the phone but your buddy in the passenger seat noticed me.

**saw a WRB STI last night on 880 as I was exiting on Decoto.. NICE!

 

saw a burgandy legacy wagon lowered couldnt tell what kind of rims..also had a custom front bumper yesterday in san bruno

also spotted a white impreza L on 18s damaged front bumper and apexi n1 exhaust (mayb rau?)

On a side note I have seen some really old people driving stis myself. 60+ yearsold. If you wave they look at you like you are insane. I just don't wave anymore when I see them. I used to think they'd be a part of the community here but it is very unlikely.

 

surprisingly, one time while i was on the freeway, i spotted an older man in his 50s or so in an STI and he said wsup to me. to me that was the coolest thing.
