We're all good. Yeah, my wife was shaken, but we were on our way home from shooting a wedding at the Mountain Winery, so we were tired. I was doing the speed limit (for once - I rarely do) and all of the sudden I see the deer to my right and then "THWACK!". I pull over. No blood, fur, or guts. I figure that deer had an epic headache and probably ran away. SCCS said they didn't see anything on the road when they drove in to make sure we were okay.

No scratches really, either. Just a dent, and a busted mirror. No damage to the fender or the rear door. NICE. Got an incident report from SC County Sheriff. They said they get a few calls like this per week.

Insurance deductible, and it's off to my buddy's bodyshop hopefully this week for repairs. Totally drivable, provided that my mirror doesn't fall off again.
