Sighting: Black MY02-03 Bugeye with gold rims and tinted windows. Asian guy and a girl (I think). He let me in front of him so I could get on the freeway... thanks!

I was the fairly stock looking silver MY04 sedan with yellow fogs, UK17s, and clear side fender signals.

 

Caught in Valentine's Day evening traffic on 237 heading East--Aspen White, dark tint, aftermarket exhaust...

I was in the White STi behind you for a bit....

Slowed down in the next lane to give me a wave!



(Two more: On saturday, saw an '04 stock looking white STi w/silver rims, and a blue STI with gold in the Fry's parking lot off Brokaw. :P )

 

That was likely me, though mine's a WRX w/ STi wing and gold Rotas....

 

Actually, there's a guy who works there who owns a 05 Blue STi w/ Gold Rims.

Why does a guy working at effing Fry's get paid enough to buy a 05 STi but yet I work a a Systems Admin and can't afford to buy one? WTF?!

 

I see that car all the time there too. Easy answer, he lives at home with his parents, isn't married, and has no children, or he has a nice ride and lives in a shack.

you don't necessarily have to have an STi to be at the top financial tier here on the boards, some of these kids(some are not even 21 yet) were just born rich and spoon fed everything...lucky them time for me to play lotto hahaha!

 

I refuse to believe that a manager at an elecontrics store makes more than I do (being responsible for 50ish mixed platform servers plus a network a middle tier small college).

So, to get that disposable income, you have to have fewer expenses....so I'd guess he either does live at home, or lives in a shack, or is spoon fed everything. If you can prove me wrong, have at it.

 

You must be new here. When you stop asking questions like "How can that [insert noun and adjectives] get paid enough to afford a [insert noun] when I work as a [insert noun] and I can't??" then you are ready for life in the Bay Area.

Also, your location says you live in fremont.

Living in the fremont area or union city, or hayward is a lot cheaper then living in SF.

So a guy making the same salary as you or even a little less will be doing a lot better.

 

Because he's a sales man there... Sales man = make moneys. But no worries man, he lives at home.

mcowger: It sounds like you are a little bitter towards this guy just b/c he drives a nice car. He might be an excellent salesman that loves his job. Why belittle someone just b/c they don't have a "flashy" tech job. I also heard he runs a catless exhaust and loves it!
