Lyle over at VinylStyles did my roof and tails. He custom wrapped the tails to get better coverage around the lenses.
Still debating on whether to keep the roof black or go back to white.
The windows were done at California Auto Tint over in Campbell. 50% all around.

 

cause damn i have my taillight overlays fro bluebat and trying ot find a place around san jose. lol dont really have the time to drive up to omegatint works

 

deuces exchanged on 280 south with a 08-09 WRB WRX around 430pm. I was the dirty a** 05 WRB STi.

I keep forgetting to post this, but I had some mega sightings on Saturday afternoon.


First one was at around 3:30ish in Mt View at a mexican restaurant right next to America's Tire co off El Camino! It was my car's twin! An Urban gray 06-07 STi with RED rally armor mudflaps, no wing, 05 tail lights, bronze wheels of some sort, and an i-club sticker! I wanted to meet you but I didn't know who owned it and didn't want to go up to random people and be like "hey, is this your STi?". Of course you left right as I went into the bathroom so I didn't get a chance to see who drove it and I didn't get to hear it either! I parked right next to you so I KNOW FOR A FACT that you saw me since our cars looked so much alike (both STi's, both gray, both with red mudflaps, etc)

Then after at around 3:45pm ish I saw two subies on 237 going west towards 880. First subie was a white bugeye that looked pretty stock, but the second was a blue 2002-2003 bug eye wagon with a bunch of rally stickers all over the windows. I couldn't see exactly what stickers you had but I remember seeing a bunch of "racing" and "rally" stickers. You had stickers on the back window, and a windshield banner. You saw us and my wife tried to wave but you just looked at us rather than smiling/nodding. I know for a fact that you saw us because every time I looked over (I have dark tint so you didn't see me, you saw my wife) you were looking over at us. You exited at Mcarthy and we got off on 880N. I tried to wave but there's no way you would have seen me because of my tint (Arg, I hate tint sometimes... I wish my car didn't come with it).

I saw a bunch of subies that day but those were the ones that stuck out in my mind.

Anyone know who own the two (Gray with red flaps and blue 02 wagon with rally stickers) subies mentioned? Both were driven by white guys... I didn't get a chance to see the driver of the STi but my wife did and she told me, and the guy driving the wagon looked like a smaller white guy in his late 20s? Hard to tell by looking through someone's window when driving. I know the gray STi (Wingless 06/07 Urban Gray with red rally armor flaps) is here on i-club since he had a sticker, I'd love to know who owns the car. I swear I've seen it before, or it could have just looked familiar since it looked so much like mine (Urban gray 07 STi with red flaps and gold BBS stockers)

HA! YES! I saw a modded subie on her street as we were leaving and wondered who it was. I can't remember what the car looked like, I just remember you had nice aftermarket wheels. I just had a quick glimpse of it when my wife said "hey look, a subie!". You were parked like 5 or so houses away from the school, right?

Right on man, good eye and too bad I wasn't in the car to throw you a deuce! :-D Although I don't remember much about your car, I just remember thinking "Oh, that's a nice Subie!". Hahaha... Any pics? What wheels did you have? Were they REALLY friggin wide or was it just the angle I was seeing them in?

im not really on here much anymore though but i decided to check if you ever posted anything and know if it was you or not and now i know

 

I haven't taken any pics since I ripped off the rear fender flares and hammered out the fenders... hasn't been exactly too photogenic. the wheels are rota p45r's 18x9.5 +25... so yes, they are kinda wide. My friend lives right across the street from where I was parked.. we went to high school right around the corner and I used to live around the other corner hahah.. we rolled by ur sti in my friends rs sedan and the front plate under the front plate is what gave you away haha!

 

This morning, bout 9:00-9:10am on 280N between Edgewood and 92, BRP RS Coupe w/ dark wheels. Car looks so nice - I miss mine loads! I was in the silver MR2 and hung with you for a few minutes before carrying on my way.

 

 

just now, white 09/10 sti brand spankin new from stevens creek on 92 east. you pulled up hella fast behind me. we exchanged waves/deuces from front/back and side/side
