Yesterday, I was following Electra, and a nice blacked out hawkeye wagon was running right behind us on 101, in Gilroy/Morgain hill about 2:30 pm...waves were exchanged. Also exchanged "v's" with Dave (not sure of the screen name) in his clean psm bugeye while shooting through Pajaro. Also saw like 10 other people that looked at me weird when I did wave!

Unfortunately that's common in the SC area, even on heavily modded Subarus. Whereabouts are you and what color is your '05?

 

I live in Pajaro, and I rarely take the subie out, but it's a '05 CGM STi. It's stock looking, but I have side markers, and a silver cobra sticker on the back window (GI joe cobra)

We were all over on Saturday! Saw a ton of Subies, only two (?) of which waved back [though a lot of people that saw us cruising were staring]. It was a blast though! Getting into all sorts of trouble on the windy backroads.

also parked next to norcaldc5 at starbucks. a plethora of imprezas there too...looked like a minnie meet.. but i didn't actually see any of the owners there.
