its because the crowd they target is too broad. Example: ever driven from point a to point b and spotted a 350z? how about spotting a modded 350z? almost every WRX/RS/STI is aesthetically modded on the street. i've owned my stock looking WRX for 5 years and i've been only spotted once. I'm pretty sure when i install my headlights and wheels ill be spotted more often

saw a blue stock sti with gold brembo's driving down stevens creek blvd away from de anza around 1:45-2, i was hiding in the in roads trying to make a left.
