I got a Pear too. I like it a lot but I guess I don't know how to use it to it's full extent, or whatever. Maybe I need more programs... I donno. I want an iPhone though, haha.

Noo, touch screens suck, and if you want to get an i-phone serviced you need to send it into Apple which is a pain in the ****. Stick with your crackberry. Especially with the Pearl, don't download any programs you don't need, and get rid of any programs you don't use. That way you won't have the memory issues that seem to happen a lot with Pearls.

I see. I'll consider. Also, remind me how to delete programs again? TIA.

options, advanced options, applications, then highlight unnecessary program (i.e. I just got rid of Lingo) press the blackberry home button, and click delete. No problem

Really?? My bf just got one and so far I think its great. It's fast and I think the audio is pretty good. A little tinny, but yeah. Oh well! Sorry you're having issues with yours

I have a blackberry curve and love it, even though I'm probably only using like 10% of what it can do. I won't post my messenger pin on an open forum, but if anyone wants it you can pm me.

WagonTale, I heard that the ball was the usually the first things to go on these things. I bought a warranty/insurance plan through best buy that will hopefully cover it if mine goes.

i love my curve. i'm not gonna post my pin. touch screen sucks for texting, and i am pretty much a strict texter. looking forward to the blackberry bold...that things looks awesome. the one after that...the thunder...is rumored to be all touch screen. what a disappointment

Yeah, I am in total agreement with you on this. Touch screen for texting purposes sucks, I definitely will not be investing in a Thunder. http://crackberry.com/exclusive-firs...kberry-thunder
I'm also looking forward to the Bold. Think I will wait to upgrade to a Curve and just get the Bold.
I've also had track ball issues as other Pearl owners mentioned. I noticed it helps if you adjust the sensitivity to the maximum level, although then it takes some getting used to. My track ball stopped working for like a day or two and then magically fixed itself. Definitely buy the insurance, and can't you also replace the track ball itself?
