Talk to one of the auto-x peeps. Maybe post up in the BAIC section and say that you want to get into auto-x.

Go the the SFR SCCA site and check out all the rules and stuff.

Here is a small crash course from DavisMSports.com

http://davismsports.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=121

Check that out. Cost of the event is $35 + $15 for temp weekend membership. If you like auto-x'ing the $15 you spent for the temp membership will go toward the regular membership.

Here is info on the next event:

https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...ghlight=auto-x

That's really about it.

Just bring $50 and a helmet and you can race....worst case scenario and you lose control of your car the worst thing that will happen is you knock over a few cones....it's ultra safe.

If you decide you like it and get SCCA membership you will get a $15 refund.

Look out for the other Subaru's with STX on the side and come over and say hello

I've been looking into this too. I eventually want to get into B Stock Solo 1.

How do you guys get your vehicle numbers? I'm going on a cruise on the 30th, but I want to go check out the next local event.

There's no Solo 1. It's just Solo.

You can either have them made by a pro or make them yourself. Read the SCCA website as to legal size for numbers and letters.
