Battery

For a WRX (if that matters)

when should to change the battery. mileage/time? or how can I tell if I need to?

and what brands are good.

this is the first car I've owned longer than 3yr/60k.

replace it when it dies

and i have always loved optima batteries, but they are on the more expensive side of batteries
