not a biggest fan of the dialogue, very modern and forced sounding. It made the marines seems a helluva lot more witty then they are I'm sure.

 

can't wait to watch it but in the first BOB series, at least a few of the episodes so far there has not been a ton of dialogue, straight battle scenes. Given they had these old guys helping in the accuracy of the story, you'd think it'd be some what legit. Not to mention I can only imagine how people spoke back then. Also if the dialogue sucked, would you want to watch it? heh. I hope you are right and its good! I'm on episode 8 of the old series involving sie germans.

I really like the pacific. I also don't think I will know everyones name, but I don't care.

 

Did HBO take down the rewatch? None of the episodes seem to be available anymore. Just recaps and behind the scenes.

 

I think they want us to pay for HBO.
