Yeah, no. The goal is actually the exact opposite.

Initially it was just to create another BAM thread for the sake of having another BAM thread. But it's also kinda useful for people looking for a caravan. They can come to this centralized list instead of having to dig though the whole forum. And it is easier to coordinate all the logistics for a given caravan when it has it's own thread.

Sacramento is a poor example since they have their **** together. Last year's South Bay caravans are a good example because nobody knew what they were doing.
