Paypal just called me:

Very nice (and cute sounding) woman on the line informed me that I can't accept money via paypal for Raffle tickets. That falls under their gambling clause, something or another. Mainly an issue Visa/Mastercard put pressure on them about where you are paying for a chance to win a prize.

I told her I will change the post to reflect that (yes, she's reading i-club, so don't even suggest to circumvent this). If you paid already, that's okay, I got you down, no worries.

But from here on out:

NO PREPAY FOR RAFFLE TICKETS!! YOU HAVE TO BUY THEM AT THE PARK, THE DAY OF THE EVENT WITH CASH.

If it's not one thing.... *sigh*

Interesting that they're following this.

Also interesting that "Gift" transactions don't circumvent that.

She said it's cool cause we aren't making any money off it, as evidenced by the thread and the charity, etc.

I know his first post was clear and I understood it. Then that 2nd post, I wasn't sure what he was referring to. Hence why I asked the question.

Caller ID says Nebraska, so I doubt it.
