BAM 2013 Charity Donation - Completed!

Thanks to everyone who helped, and everyone who donated or bought raffle tickets.

Of course, thanks to all the great vendors who gave away raffle prizes, especially FW Motorsports for the grand prize.

BAIC donated $6542 this year to Nathan's Fight (https://www.giveforward.com/fundrais...2/nathansfight)

I got an email from the family thanking us for the generous donation. Although they didn't make their $15,000 goal, I'm sure we put a huge dent in their fundraising for his treatment.

I'm very proud of what we accomplished this year. It is by far and away the most that has ever been donated by a BAM/Hammy event. We did well.

Total donation was like 6 cents shy of $7000. I hope this is just another step in us helping make a positive difference in our community and in people's lives.

I'm pretty sure most of us have had at least 1 we'd like to try to forget. My kid puking out the side of the car on the way up last year comes to mind.

Cool on the donations! FWIW Parks reached out to me through a mutual friend and AFAWK we represented ourselves very well. I politely inquired about the vehicle count but they did not have a specific count for me.

When he asked what my possible figure was I said "..easily 75-125 vehicles, at $5 each, how's about Parks Matches a certain amount if we make this happen again with no issues? Like $0.50-$1.00 per vehicle back? Not that it's my place to answer or even ask any sort of thing.".

If we have an actual vehicle count in any way shape or form I'd like to know it, if nothing more than bragging rights.

Yep. That said next time around remind me to put you in touch with a Matching Grants possibility. It'll need to be filed well before the event and Wifey will be the contact if they'll allow it.

As-In, had I been able to knowing that $5k was raised there could have been a 50-100% matching amount possible.
