Usually people (even at the past ones I have thrown) show up, eat, and leave... Stick around for like 45 mins and the meet is dead by 1:15pm.
This meet made all the old meets look small. Not just the single one you threw last year in Fremont.
I know you hate me and all, but just so you know, I don't hate you and not everything I say is a directed insult at you.
Also, Gagan is one of my really good friends and I wouldn't trade him for a million bucks. He's one of a kind, he did just as much as you did and there's no way I'd insult him, and he knows that.

PS: I'm running on 3 hours of sleep and feel like I've worked at a forced labor camp all day, so I apologize for some of the vague things I might have said...
I also had to take pain medicine for my back so I'm a little "woozy" right now.
can't we just hug and make out Jourdan? Why oh why do you loathe me? Why do you push my love away? I just want to touch you in your naughty place!
Well, me and Paul together...

I just recalled there was a dude that was one of the grill masters this afternoon who said he had to be somewhere at 1:30. It was 2:30 by the time he asked what time it was and he hadn't left yet. What a trooper! Thanks man!

BAM was definitely awesome. My first BAM and I loved it. Even if the cook-off never went through, I still thought it was fun. Meet and greets. Chattin' it up with familiar faces as well as ending up playing football with new faces. All in all, AWESOME. The DJs were awesome as well. What made it awesome was the fact that they looked like they enjoyed themselves. That's the great part. Being able to see people do what they love. Vendors were super nice and their families are all super awesome as well. Everyone was friendly, which made everything even more great. It was a very nice location as well.
The only sad part was all the hard work everyone put into detailing their car for the event, just to have it all dirty again due to the dust/dirt.
Nonetheless everything was super awesome. This was definitely NOT some ordinary car meet. haha
Thanks to all who were involved for getting this all together for everyone to enjoy.

Wait till you guys see what's in store next year, it's going to make this year's event look like UCKK!
Seriously, I have 3 professional planners on my side this year and we plan on getting more vendors to support the cause, especially since they all know me personally and now that we're officially the sponsor for Furry Friends Animal Rescue!
Charity event + Vendors + Great planning = BAM X

They made the most basic things taste PHENOMINAL!
I didn't eat a bite of food until 4:30ish today... I felt like I was going to pass out, and at one point I almost did.
Big props to the chefs, I took some of the cooked chicken leftovers home and ate it for dinner... The girls and I REALLY enjoyed it!

Next time, I'm bringing bug repellent. LOL. Freakin' lord of the flies! ARGH. Our Alameda group got split up and some of us ended up hopping onto the Golden Gate Bridge. Me, a kind gentleman in the visually stock black 04-05 Forester XT, an crystal gray WRX w/ a sunroof, and a white STi ended up going that route. I'd say, besides having to drive through San Francisco, the actual drive on the bridge and then taking that all the way up north, gorgeous. I never made that drive in my car. That was a pleasant mistake instead of taking the San Rafael Bridge like I wanted to (and where everyone else went).

Props, goes out for getting this set up. The "Grill Guys" [Greg is the only one I know] thanks, that job sucks and you nailed it all day. It was a chill event. I did get a bit on the tippsy side... Ray, Cliff and I ended up staying til just 7pm or so. The weather was so nice. The grounds were in great shape when we left. Kind of nice to have park staff picking up trash all day. After we let it was off to Marin Brewing Co. for some more beer and grub. We didn't get home til after 11pm. Good times. I saw a lot of faces I hadn't seen in quite some time.
Sidenote: Yesterday was the first time I got to witness the "Hella Flush" fad. News flash!!! That ish don't fit.
