Baic Weather Update
Our personalized forecast is:
Rain will be moving in late tonight, and through the morning for the bay area. The evening and night will bring good amount of rain, and some light wind. Some rain will filter on into tuesday. New years eve looks dry, and partly cloudy. as does new years day.
This bulletin was posted from the NWS, 11:10pm:
"A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS. THE FRONT WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY ONE TO TWO HOURS OF HEAVY RAIN AND STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS GUSTING AS HIGH AS 40 TO 50 MPH. THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS. THE RAIN MAY CAUSE LOCAL BRIEF FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS. MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION AND BE PREPARED FOR POOR VISIBILITIES AND HEAVY RAIN. THE RAIN WILL DECREASE AND CHANGE TO SCATTERED SHOWERS BY 1 AM IN THE NORTH BAY AND BY 2 AM OVER THE REST OF THE BAY AREA"
So anyone out there right now, you got about 45 mins for the general bay area before some seriously heavy rain will hit. take care folks.

PhilioWRXman: No prob. I will let you know around new years. I'll post it here.
Steppin Razor: It's a hobby. And now that i'm in college, i have an atmospheric science class, and meteorology lab under my belt, i know how it all works. I feel that since i look at the weather several times day, why can't i let my fellow club buddies know what's coming up every few days.
Snow right now is powder. But since it looks like near zero snow to fall the next two days, and the temp over night being in the teens, the snow could get a little packed, and hard. It looks to me like more rain monday and tuesday however, so bring your cables. And you may get snowed in if enough falls tuesday. Best to go is Sunday for powder.
PimpWagon: yep, just watch out for ice early in the morning
