We picked up one of these today off ebay. 1946 Ducati 48cc Ducati's 1st "motorcycle" product. This was made to be bolted onto a bicycle. This goes back before their 1st motorcycle.
I have a bicycle here from the 40's we are going to be building this onto.

^^ So I am going to be selling this if anyone is interested in a good starter/commuter macheen. It has:
-New clutch 300 mi ago
-New valve-cover gasket 300 mi ago
-New front wheel bearings 300 mi ago
-New K&N filter 300 mi ago (weird filter, like $75)
-New tires (Bridgestone Battlax) 2000 mi ago
-Front forks rebuilt 2000 mi ago
-Chain serviced 2000 mi ago, adjusted/cleaned/lubed 300 mi ago
-139 Db air horn hardwired and permanently installed (use this every time I ride)
-New Sylvania headlight 2000mi ago
-New spark plugs 2000mi ago
-oil changed w/ Castrol GTX 10w-40 every 2k miles
-Have a cheesy cover for it too, but usually if I am not riding it, it lives in my garage. Has some rust as it was stored outside by the previous owner, but it looks like it does in the pic.
I think that's it. It's been a kickass bike, has 23k miles on it. I bought it with 19k. Gets around 40mpg, is a blast to ride, feels really safe and you have to work hard to go fast. Never let me down, starts every time. Just thought I would post it here before I unleash it on CL. Clutch, VC gasket and wheel bearing done at MDK Motorsports in RWC, all else done at Santa Clara Cycle in Sunnyvale.
