Recently a friend of mine has been getting his mail and packages stolen, along with neighbors as well.

Well he set up a trap and left a fake package and a camera. He has caught the person on camera, and now needs help finding this person. Police have been contacted etc. But if you have seen this person, please contact the police with any information possible.

This kind of scum, stealing at this time of year........She belongs behind bars. Please help if you can

Stealing mail is a federal offense. Are the police taking it seriously and actually doing something about it instead of standing around? O_O

Tampering with the mail is a felony.

I hope he contacts USPS Postal Inspectors and they get this person.

Yes, they are taking it seriously, but we need help to find the person. So if anyone sees this person, please call the police with the whereabouts.

 

BTW, this happened in North San Jose just south of the Great Mall

 

damn thats awesome he set up that trap like that, but why didnt they just wait there too so he could call the cops on her? he knew she would come by that day? Hell set it up again and this time wait and bust her ***, she'll def fall for it again!

stealing is wrong no matter what, thats for sure, but i mean i could semi-rationalize if the person was less fortunate

Well how many days do you take off work waiting? It's a ****ty place to be. Packages is one thing, but stealing mail...stuff you aren't expecting and will never know about. Bills, personal info, etc....

 

If shes dumb enough to hit the same homes twice then I'm sure she'll be dumb enough to come back again. Maybe she'll accidentally hit her head and collapse in the street. Just in time for the paramedics to haul her off.

 

Damn hope she gets caught soon. You've got my eye here in Union city.

well it seems they were pretty sure if they left some packages out that day she would come by again and she did, so thats only 1 day off work. Ever gotten anything stolen from you? I guarantee if you did you would gladly miss a day of work to bust that theif. Hell Id take a day off to pwn that ***** myself just after watching that vid! lets do it, BAIC sting on the SJ mail theif!!!!

 

exactly, thieves are just opportunists, shes probably not even aware anyones on to her, I bet you anything if you set it up again she will be by on time the next day, DOIT!!

 

Packages were left on multiple days, it wasn't just a one shot deal. And yes, i've had things stolen from me. And yes, i'd love to stay home and wait. but odds are that they'd come by when I waited are slim and just costs me more money.

Hell i'm even thinking of camping out for a day if i can even get time off to help my buddy. Halo party anyone? hah!
