Vail's (which owns Heavenly) only bought out Northstar.
Another buy out just announced today is that a Colorado investment firm bought Squaw Valley. And what connection does that investment firm have? Its the predecessor company to Vail Resorts. So the double/triple whammy deal may have just gotten even better.

Just a heads up, I was driving up to tahoe yesterday and some of the roads going up there is not plowed. It was about 3 inches of snow on the freeway and even my awd was losing grip. I also cracked my v-limited lip due to the snow

On a serious note, if the roads are what you say they're like then we all need to be very careful. I'm riding on a set of Nitto Neo Gen's and wet/snow traction is **** so I know I'll be going nice and slow.

do you need snow tires necessary when go up there; i mean i have summer tires but i wouldnt think you need snow tires as much b/c subi are AWD.
i get my check like next week, so this determines if im in or out.

So riding today was great, except for the ****load of douche riders/skiers out there thinking they own the mountain. **** was kinda gay, but the riding was great when I was just out having fun in the different areas. heavenly is a Huge fuccin park.
I'm staying at a time share right across the street from the CA side gondola. About a 2-5 minute walk to the Gondola.
