BAIC/I-club cap???

I just bought an i-club sticker b/c they're cool. Has there ever been any i-club/baic caps...like fitted caps? I'm sure this has come up before my time, but was just wondering.

I looked online to see how much it would cost to make a custom fitted cap with customized logos and what not. For the prices they were charging (digitizing fees and whatever) someone would have to buy in bulk. I posed the same question in the "general" forum.

As you can tell, I've got a lot to think of while at work.

If you make these...I suggest flexfit. I love flexfit hats!

Hmmmm, I tried making some digital stitched mechanic shirts (dickies shop shirts) last year with the i-club emblem on the left pocket and possibly a name on the right side. I was told you had to have permission to use that emblem and was turned down. I would still be willing to get these made if I could get access to the digital image and would even be willing to pay for rights to use it.

I shot an email requesting permission also. So I guess I'll get shot down as well. Is just the mention of i-club/baic (and not the actual logos) considered some form of infringement? it's been awhile since I took those copyright classes at SF State.

That was last year, Actually I think Zoeb approached Alex about the use of the logo image and never got further than that. I have the idea in my head and if I can get a prototype made (out of my own money), I'm sure the club members would go for it. It won't be cheap, but would be unique in terms of I-club apparel.

...I'm confused by whom and for what reason these ideas are being shot down...someone in i-club doesn't want i-club clothing and hats?

The I-club logo is not free domain. There are some copy rights or something to that effect.
Alex probably can advise what the policy is. I don't have enough information and was at the time too much trouble to pursue. All I need is the okay and a digital image.

with all the hubbub about making caps and authorization for logo useage, maybe Alex or whomever high above should start churning out caps in addition to the stickers. People here seem interested.
