You know, I could have sold my RS for around 5k, you know why I didn't? Because I have been part of this community for a long time now (so have you) and I have had people help me out to an unlimited extent, which is why I sold it for half of that to a fellow i-club guy (who is a great guy and has great plans to turn it into a 2008 Spec C, already has all the parts and all!). Same with all the other parts I sell, hell, sometimes I just give my stuff away for free just to give back to the community. Originally Posted by rau

Supply is High! Demand is Low! Too expensive.
As stated previously, the combo of brand new equip is almost equal price. The SLIM ps2 and the SLIM ps3 is probably SMALLER than the old PS3..
Good luck.

Works the same way but is more work. Would be a lot easier to just pop your memory stick into your PS3 and get your pics or videos off it. Originally Posted by bluwrxwgn

Oh well. Good luck with the sale.
There's some people that use the PS3 for more than gaming or watching blu-rays. So having the card readers and extra USBs are nice to have. Also, I believe I've heard Rock Band requires more than 2 USB ports if you use all the instruments. Can't confirm this cause I've never played Rock Band. If it matters, the Slim PS3 can't run Linux, just an FYI.Originally Posted by STi-owns-evo
What is the benefit of the 2 extra USB ports (other than confirming bc)? And all the other gizmos and gadgets, do people really use them? Amazon.com has the PS3 slim 120gb at $299.99 and the PS2 slim at $99.99. So, together, the same price, brand new, and the PS2 has PS1 bc, so you get the same thing, and honestly they probably take up less space than an old PS3.Oh well. Good luck with the sale.

My 80gb has 4 USB ports and it may have the memory card slot. I'm not completely sure, but my Sony TV does. I don't have any music or photos stored on my PS3. It's strictly for gaming, I do have it hooked to my NAS storage device though, so if I need pictures I can just get them from there. Originally Posted by 04Impreza
