When I go with him he can get me and whoever goes really good room rates. All rooms are under his name.
Have you checked how cheap you can stay at the Monte Carlo? Ive seen ads going for like $56 a night.
MGM is pricey but Im pretty sure if you get a bunch of rooms there you can get a price cut????
You should be able to get a decent group rate. We had 5 rooms at The Hotel (Mandalay Bay) for a Fri-Mon stay, each room had 3 or 4 ppl, paid $150 each for the whole weekend.
P.S. - Here's the route we (Nor*Cal caravan to WusteFest) took to Vegas. It's the VERY scenic, VERY twisty, and yeah HOT way.

Definitely have to take that route, I-5 is pretty damn boring. Maybe I-5 on the way back but driving home from Vegas on a Sunday sucks on I-15 too. But just keeping this fresh in everyone heads. We still have a ways to go anyways.
