I was at the Sunnyvale Rod & Gun on Sunday...
There was a guy there with a FN SCAR 17 (.308 chambered).... holy crap that's a cool rifle. I didn't get to fire it, but man that thing was dead on at 100 yards

Looks so freakin sweet

I was working all freaking weekend. Didn't have time to do much of anything. Didn't even know there was a firearm related event or I might have tried to sneak out...

All the guns I can buy cash n carry here in Arizona.
I walked into a ammo store today. Walked out with 3500 rounds of mixed, 9mm, 556 and 50bmg, I spent under 275 a box of 1000 round for the 9 and 556, 500 round of bmg was API. Oh the fun going down this weekend!

So - my buddy was out at the 1000 yard competition last week in PA and took pics (along with 2nd place)
20mm Vulcan rifle
It weighs 120lbs. The custom ammo/projectiles were made by the owner of the rifle. The projectiles weighed 1757 grains (point of ref: a .223 from an M16 is 55 grain), the powder used was W870 and 490 grs were used per round.
They left the muzzle at 2700+ fps which is as fast a custom 50 load which has a projectile of 808 grs. Powder charge for the 50bmg is 228 grs.

20mm ammo with a 50 BMG stuck in there for scale

Same guys trailer

Other various 50 rifles
my buddy's 50 BMG

new Serbu semi-auto with BORS sight

EDM Windrunner

Bushmaster/Cobb 50

Armalite AR-50

This rifle weighs 90 lbs and doesn't even have a muzzle brake which is unheard of on a 50 bmg
