Glad you guys put effort in to it, but there should have been better directions, like at the beginning of the thread.

I wasted over an hour of my time, 2 gallons of gas, and didn't get to have BBQ.

Anyways, hope those of you that got there had fun.
im sorry to hear about the bad news Matt. we were wondering where you were since you mentioned you were planning on attending at 11. Next time around, well have a better location for everyone. this was our first BBQ so through trial and error we learn from our mistakes.

True, but that is a DAMN HUGE park, I drove through all the parking lots I could see along Paseo Padre really slow and didn't see a group of subies or even Ave's car.

There is always other times for meets though. I should probably just get my *** out to the regular meets more often.

We all bounced by 3 though. So if you came after that, we were all gone.

Next time we will have signs on the corners of the park area, which will direct everyone to the spot.

Matt, we were actually on the Stevenson Side of the park. if you looked at the lake elizabeth website they give you the location on paseo and we were on the other side of the park.

Those soccer players show up early on the weekends to set up their soccer stuff. I wonder what they would do if we all showed up earlier than them, and put up volley ball nets and blocked off sections to screw around in. That would be Hilariously! Volleyball would be a good idea, and it's not as painfully physical as football. With this, girls would also be able to play and have fun.
