Yeah I was hoping to go up during the week next week when I'm off. But between court prep, first aid/cpr training, a suspension swap, a VF43 install, and court...it ain't gonna be much actual "vacation" between Monday & Friday.

I feel so bad for missing out on this, esp. since I gave a buncha input & shizz! Lots a crazy "excuses" on my part.

Short story: After having to postpone my departure for Fri afternoon/evening, we decided to just head up on Sat morning. But too much boozin' that nite killed that plan. But the silver lining is that I got a brand new nephew!!! Then, in my boredom & sadness of not joining y'all, I surfed for pr0n & fubared my laptop. And I just got it back fr my brother who cleared it of the nasty "google links redirect" Trojan among other things.

Anyway, I'm glad y'all had a blast despite the minor catastrophe or two. Stoked that there were no serious injuries...to living creatures at least. (Sorry Eric, I couldn't resist.)

I managed to stay away from the bottles of kettle 1 and internet hookers long enough to make it up to Tahoe this weekend.
The only snag was the apparent head on accident along the cliffs on the 50 Saturday morning around 9:30am. Traffic was backed up in both directions so instead of Heavenly, we went to Sierra.
Snow was pretty decent when groomed, at both resorts. Stayed at the Best Western on Park Avenue. Looks old school on the outside but the rooms are all updated, and its not more than a 5minute walk to Heavenly's Gondola. I used my Costco membership for the discounted rate.

 

Thanx, Justin! Hellz yeah, he'll be a shredder, too! I've already taken up my brother's son 3-4 times. I hope to bring my other sis's daughter when she comes up here during her spring break in Apr.


Yep, that's where most of the peeps on this trip stayed... BW Stn House Inn. Thanx for the heads-up on the Costco hook-up!
