Hell Yeah... we need to "PRAY FOR SNOW!" as well as get back to those rain-making(Bay Area)/snow-bringing(mtns) rituals we tirelessly & faithfully performed weeks ago.
Let's hope that this li'l blurb brings us something to get really excited about...
So while all the upcoming MLK snow-warriors will be smashing it up like it's Spring Break on the slopes, we should get some NEW pow to play on for our trip! Yippee!!!!!
Let's hope that this li'l blurb brings us something to get really excited about...

yeah you know how it goes, you wash your car and then it will rain a couple of days later.. either that or you get a nice bird turd on your hood or something. I was suggesting that so the rain/snow gods will dump.

Oh yeah I just thought I would suggest to you guys looking on craigslist for lift tickets. If your going to heavenly and don't want to pay $82.00! I found some decent prices on there. I know thats where I'll be riding.

...because, in exactly 7 days at this time, we should be on the Gondola (or already on the hill @Sierra or Kirkwood) for Day One on the slopes!
Eric: Thanx for updating the 1st post. A couple tweaks should make the info pop! Check your PM box.

6am good god thats early! That means I gotta leave san jose at like 5... I was hoping we were gonna leave later, but thats all good I'll be there.
What about traffic though? it is a normal work day for everyone else, is traffic heavy out that way?
Were probably gonna have to deal with sacto traffic too.
Is anyone else coming from the south bay?

We went w/ the early start since folks chimed in that they wanted a FULL day on the slopes on Fri. When I lived in SanJo, I typically left at ~0500 to get to the resort close to 1st chair.
Yes, it's a normal work day, but there should be no issues w/ traffic for y'all coming fr the South Bay that early.
As you mentioned, the only hiccup we'll encounter is thru Sac (fr the 50 split to near Rancho Cordova).
