chess requires such mindpower, to be able to forsee so many potential moves and counter-moves...

I'm slightly better than a novice skill-wise, but for me chess is like math:

I can do much better at it if I spend countless time focusing on it...

yeah I mainly play BF1942 w/Desert Combat & Desert Combat Extended, and a little bit of Rainbow 6 - Raven's Shield

Golf and chess are probably harder than all the major popular sports in the US.

And FIDE (the international chess organization) is the 3rd largest sports organization in the world, behind the IOC (olympics) and FIFA (soccer).

bah...I suck at chess. In 7th grade I entered a tourny at school. Lost on a fools mate..haaa. that fast. out.

But being smart I can usually hold my own for a good amount of time now. I still don't know how to play but I've taken out a couple of instructors...I beat one dude that makes $75 an hour teaching twice in a row. The second time he just flicked over his king and got up pissed and left.....I think he was pissed that I trapped him and took his queen like 10 moves in.

 

You should look into America's Army. It's completely free and it's a badass game. It's great to know a server so well that you can tell where people will be, so you sneak up behind them and then lite em up with a saw. All the weapons and everything are real in the game. It's the closest game to actually miltary.

dude. Chess is Chess nothing more, I don't see why you need to pay for it. Just go to instantchess.com and when you've used up all your credits playing there for free just delete your internet history and files.

I haven't, but I heard it's similar to America's Army. And AA is free to play. Just download the software and you are good to go.

I have to freakin start over. Was using my girlfriends bro's computer and he tossed the game and I can't remember my dang pass word...I screwed it all up. I think I'll go with something with 1Man_ in front of it....just look for that. I'll be up in running while I'm out on knee surgery. When I play CS and battlefield I have been going back and forth with 1Man_cqk (borrowed cqk from siscocqk) and HoldFast. When I play with my buddies I'm Agent White. alla res dogs.

So yeah......most likely look for HoldFast or 1Man_cqk.
