Today right after dumbarton bridge, there was this bad accident! In the far left lane there was a Subaru Forester that was completely flipped over. On the shoulder was another car. As I drove by, I noticed that Forester's the engine was completely smashed in, but the top of car had barely any structural damage. I saw all the people in the accident standing on the side of the road next to the other car. Thank God no one was injured! I was impressed with how the Forester held up! Did anyone else see this?

 

What side of the bridge was this on? At least Subaru's crash testing paid off saving the lives of whoever were in that Forester :banana:

Talk about timing. I was just there minutes ago from the time you posted going that direction. There was a sign saying that there are high winds on the bridge.

 

It's high wind there on 84 and 92 almost everyday. People do drive pretty fast on those bridges and the flat parts leading to them.

 

I get toseed around in my wrx all the time. what's the deal? these cars aren't made for high speed side winds... that rally design kills me on 92
