Backyard dwellings/studios/getaways
Does anyone have one of these in their backyard? Anyone live in one? haha.
The Ruckus thread reminded me of them...since they are individual spaces that you accessorize and do whatever you want in.
I love the idea of it, and have my friends backyard to make one in when i have to (should) move out of my parents house when (if) i get a good job lol.
It reminds me of a book on Tokyo studios people live in...People in Tokyo consider 10x12' to be huge! as their bed is under their sink, next to their television haha.
Post pics if you have any, I'm curious. Don't say you cant live in them. Because you can.

haha thats my plan. no but all i need is a room, i'll park my moto inside next to my bed
My friend is gonna kick it in the garage, and our other friend with 3 kids and his GF are gonna pay the bulk of the rent inside the 3 room house
It's his mom's rentals that she said she would rent to us in a few quarters if we wanted. And i'm almost gradumacated.
I think i could get a decent girl to stick with me in one of these things, better than a tuff shed LMAO

Wow, the ones you posted pictures of look really nice! Keep in mind that they have been professionally decorated and tricked out to maximum capacity, basically what I'm saying is that yours wont look ANYTHING near those unless you want to drop some serious coin!
Whats the biggest version you can get?

lol i hope to run water to the building along with electrical, so a toilet shouldn't be a problem if you have a big enough space. I'd make a deck around 2 sides and have the toilet be a separate room for obvious reasons. So you'd have to walk outside under an overhang then enter the bathroom.

yeah, i just think it would be cool to bury a little underground and park a motorcycle in...it would be cool for about a week until you twist your ankle
my basement is cement and it's always between 60'-75' all year round. so who knows.
