Awesome Forza 2 liveries! Pics!
While browsing the internet trying to answer a question regarding my Forza game I came across a section where these guys post, and sell their custom paint schemes/liveries. Some of them are simply a work of art. If you know the game, you will know that each new item is a layer in the paint shop. I believe one car had 850 layers on just the right side of the car. Some people got to much time on their hands.. hah

No they don't come in the game. People will take a regular sti, and custom make the designs in the "paint" section. I don't really know how to describe what goes into making those unless you are familiar with the game. Basically you have access to letters, shapes, and some sponsor decals. So these people are creating these cars using the different shapes that are available. Each time you do something it is a different "layer". Say you want to write i-club, you choose the i, place it where you want. Then you must go to a different layer, to choose the '-', and another layer for 'c' and so on. So to give you an idea of how much time and detail goes into some of these, the COBB time attack car has around 850 layers on just one side.

I thought there was a way to "import" images into the paint shop? USB drive or something?
To have to piece those together with the tools provided just in the game seems insane. I've been playing the game, but don't have the patience to get fancy with the paint shop. Those cars there are awesome.

wtf, it looks great when you play it and the cars sound exactly like the cars do in real life. i just hate how the pictures turn out kinda bunk compared to the GT pix..and it's on a next gen.
