Do two wrongs make a right? Would pulling the troops out now really benefit anyone at all? As I see it, its a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation. You leave the troops in there we lose a few daily, but you pray to god it isnt in vain and they make headroom. You pull them out and you create the ability for insurgents/groups of individuals to have widespread sectarian violence, mass murders/genocide without any sense of order whatsoever. Not to mention you show that in the face of a few thousand deaths in combat you will give up a fight and be bullied out of your commitment. You then become an international pushover and the target for attacks/invasion at home.
