Autox Round 11 (candlestick)
Ok ok.... this is a little early...
BUT I WANT TO DODGE CONES!!!!!
GGGGRRAAAAUIAIUAUAAGGGUUUHHH
MUST NOT HIT CONES.....
Ok.... So I got me a new set of crappy falkins that are a 100% better than my crappy michilens
. Now that I have cornering power, I can attempt to get more wins.
Remember, this event is on SATURDAY not sunday as normal.

BTW: why can't we have these cool smilies?

does the sf region do pre-reg at all for the events. i just moved back here from arizona and they let you pre-regester and pay for the events prior so you can just show up and race. so i was just hoping they let you do the same here.

No, SFR doesn't do pre-reg. Our turnouts are such (especially early in the year) that if we allowed pre-reg it'd all but screw the chances of anyone being able to come up at the last minute (with SCCA membership card in hand) and enter.
Unfortunately, I'm out for this weekend as I'll be outta town

See my thread on "Very Long Subie Weekend" for the DeAnza Details.
Basically, fun in the end but one frustrating journey to get there!

Well Chris....it wasn't quite THAT bad.....
The cutoff was about 5:15AM
You're right, it is a victim of it's own success.
Also, since the announcer said it looks like DeAnza is FINALLY gonna build their parking garage on that spot (Lot B), it probably was the LAST Duel at DeAnza. Or at least the last one to be held in the location it has been at for the last 35 years....

ok... so how did you guys do?
I think I got second with a 82.341, Paulc won the event with a 81.8.
This was the first event on my $40 set of falkins. wow. what a difference a tire makes.
If I am right, that win ties Paul and I in the STX championship
That was a great course. The beginning of the day was hard because of failure of the timing lights.
