just wanted to verify for sm<, we cannot use any type of V or X brace inside the cabin? also i noticed no modified trunk allowed ie cf? actually good thing.. scca is preventing me from spending more money haha..

 

No chassis bracing aside from strut bars on STX cars.

AutoX rules have stopped me blowing thousands on mods...but caused me to blow thousands on tires! (Advan Neovas aren't cheap..but they are the best)

 

For SM you can replace the trunklid, but no v/x bracing is allowed unfortunately

 

"The firewall, roof, doors, rear quarter panels, floor pan, trunk lid (if any) or rear hatch (if any) must remain stock. Holes may be drilled to allow attachment of body kits, etc. This specifically allows replacement hoods, fenders, wings, front & rear fascias, side skirts, and fender flares as per Section 14. Body panels may be attached with removeable (e.g., Dzus) fasteners."

pg 102 of the handbook section I: Front hoods (engine covers), engine covers, trunk lids and hatches not containing glass, front fenders, rear fenders not part of chassis structure (unibody), front & rear facias, and side skirts may be modified or replaced, and may be attached with removable fasteners.

My experience is that any extra money, after coilovers and RSB, is best spent on tires.
