all the marina autoX videos i see are super fast, compared to the UFO group where its slow and super technical with 1000+ cones on the track.
all the other car clubs put like 100 cones on the track, not that its bad, but its higher speeds from what it looks like, and thats where my 2.5 loses to most other subarus

its all about fun and honestly the fastest subaru i have seen was an 02 with just a catback exhaust. it was beating STi's. i will send them an email tomorrow from work and see if they will let others play with them.

but the more technical a course is, the more variety you have in the results.
a drag race will have pretty consistent results between cars, a technical autoX wont.
scale:drag race.............................................. .track day..................................fast autoX..........tech autoX
at least you didn't call me out on my flakyness lol which i was expecting opening up your post haha

It's all about driver, and I just didn't bring enough ***** for a course this fast. Having more power would have helped, for sure, but still, a 100hp civic was fastest in class yesterday. Bad *** driver, bad *** car, huge cajones.

and as for technical courses, i like having a chance (tech courses give slower cars more of a chance) the reason ive beaten WRXs and some STis at Altamont and Antioch in my moms 2.2L OBS
