Hmm... Didn't think about that. You know what I miss, I miss the grenade mode on the rocket launcher. I like bouncing rockets around corners. Haha. I want to purchase UT3, but I don't think my computer can handle it.

unless you have a good system. lets see.. my system was core 2 duo 2.0 and a 7900gts card and i was getting low frames and was choppy some.. i am gonna try and install on ballz system and see if it runs better.. it looks good on my system but its choppy. Ballz has the 8800 card so i think it will run good on his. So if your system needs upgrading you probably will be choppy in the game.

Yeah. My system is hella old. Just an old P4 system that I built 4 or 5 years ago.

P4 2.66ghz OC'ed to 3.2ghz
2 GB of RAM
ATI Radeon 1950 Pro, 512MB DDR2 or something...

That's about it. Old school stuff.

yeah so i wouldnt buy the game just yet cus i dont think your system will handle it that well. Unless you wanted to get the game to hold on to for later but that wont make much sense.

Yeah. I just downloaded the beta demo. I can try that and see how it runs. I have an itch to go play some UT2k4. I've been playing a lot of Invasion RPG lately. Lots of fun, but nothing like regular modes.

You know what the problem with Onslaught people are... is that they don't know how to play. Like for certain maps, the first two minutes are CRUCIAL. I have teams who don't do squat. Oh well...

Seriously. Kills mean nothing in Onslaught. Winning is winning. I guess people don't quite understand that. Work as a time, and be AGGRESSIVE!!

yeah even in vctf people would do that.. its not the kills that matter the most its defense and getting the flag. We can play forever with a 1000 kills but if you dont have a flag its no good.

Exactly. Too bad there aren't more people who play UT2k4. I'd say LAN PARTY!!!

And mind you... I have the 16-port hubs. Multiple of them...

And I have a spare machine where we can run a dedicated server, too.

Used to do that in my garage. Maybe every once in a while. Good times. Nice to have those LCD monitors now. I remember people bringing 19" and 21" LCD's. Backbreakers...

Edit: My brother... he and his friends. They LAN on laptops. DOTA!!

I remember those, too. I have a strap for my case. A few years ago, I decided to upgrade to a Lian-Li aluminum case. I love the thing. it is awesome.
