AUDT: Install Fest Maybe?

Hi all.

Would anyone be interested in an Install Fest on Veterans Day Weekend? I am thinking about doing one or two things. I'd be more than happy to feed and water you guys in return for some help.

Let's discuss.

Sunday, November 11th. 10-4 or something.

Please RSVP.

Me, but I would be on the "please help me install" side. I'm a newb when it comes to mechanical know-how.

Had an accident with a curb a while ago. Stuff was replaced but I believe the strut is bent because:
1. Caster out of spec
2. Camber maxed out at -0.6

So basically, replace the front right (front-passenger) strut. I already have the part, just need to install.
Heard it wasn't too bad, I've just never done it.

I don't think that is too bad. I don't have a spring compressor though. I've done coilovers for all four corners for mine. That was fun...

Other than the spring compressing, 5 bolts. Three on the top, two on the strut.

Yah, I think I can get a loaner from Autozone.

Btw, would this be in Davis or Fremont? Hopefully more people are down, I'm interested in learning how to install other things also.

Haha. I don't know. I want to do it at my mom's house. We'll have to see. My goal is to get the lateral links on as well as pads and rotors if I have them by then.

I might go, but I'll just watch and learn from the pros unless I have parts.
