So which car group annoys the **** out of you and why? After owning an MR2 for six months, I am going to have to say these guys annoy me the most. Shops are shady. Aftermarket support blows. And the the owners are huge Toyota fan boys. TRD this. TRD that. Omg. My Toyota is so much faster than your Honda...
Car would have been great if it didn't break down all the time. and had a solid scene.

I would have sold my swapped Alltrac long time ago, but I haven't met many people that understand what I have/done or want to pay anything close to reasonable price (I am not stuck up about the project, but I am not selling it for scrap price either).

i have an mr2 and is on this forum as well as mr2oc.
good mechanic shops are hard to find in general. so if you find an honest mechanic that is fair and honest, keep going there. we are lucky that we have more than a few good shops here for subarus. if you owned an older subaru (say year 1991 subaru), chances are, not all shops would be willing to work on it and if they do, they wouldn't know the ins and outs of the car like they do on the wrx, sti, 2002 up models, in general.
where did you take your mr2 to get work done? were there issues with the car before you bought it? just curious.
there is a bunch of aftermarket support for the 3sgte motor. not so much on the 5s. for the SW20, it sure has way more than the older AW11 version.

So... I will take a moment to thank Adam and Noah at LIC for their honest and hard work, the ****** and his crew at GST Motorsports for fixing my heap of junk when it breaks down, the boys (and girls) at SpeedElement for always taking care of me, and Mert (for fixing my ****, multiple times both at GST and at his shop).
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. It was expensive and costly. Well... it seemed expensive and costly at the time, but definitely worth it considering **** was done right, support was excellent, and wasn't a pain in the ***. I knew it then, but I am especially more appreciative now consider my nightmarish experience with the MR2.

I think has become a general case now that the older performance cars come down in price. This allows the current young broke/high school crowd to get a 'kewl' sport car as their first car. Yes, there are real enthusiasts among them, but seems like way more posers. Obviously, lack of knowledge, experience, funds, discipline/behavior, etc shows...

For the most part, the Dodge Neon owners...
I was a mod at 2GN for a while and a large portion of the owners are just not my kind of car enthusiasts.
I almost forgot the LX chassis Chrysler people. OMFG what a bunch of hillbillies or ghetto fabulous douchebags.
